Process

You always knowwhat week it is.

Seven stages, each ending in something you can open, click or read. You see progress every week and you know the price of every stage before it starts.

  1. Discovery call

    45 minutes, free

We work out what you actually need, which is often less than you came in asking for.

A working call, not a sales pitch. We map the problem, the users, the constraints and the budget. If an off-the-shelf tool solves it for a tenth of the price, we tell you on this call.

    What you get

    • A written summary of the problem
    • An honest build-or-buy recommendation
    • A ballpark range before anyone commits
  2. Scope & proposal

    2 – 4 days

A fixed-scope proposal with milestones, acceptance criteria and a real timeline.

You get a document that says exactly what is being built, what is explicitly not being built, what each milestone costs, and when it lands. No hourly surprises and no vague deliverables.

    What you get

    • Milestone plan with fixed prices
    • Written acceptance criteria
    • Technology recommendation with reasoning
  3. Design & prototype

    1 – 3 weeks

Wireframes, then high-fidelity screens, then a clickable prototype you can react to.

We design in the open with a shared Figma file. You see progress daily rather than waiting for a reveal, and changes at this stage cost hours instead of weeks.

    What you get

    • User flows and wireframes
    • High-fidelity UI in Figma
    • Interactive prototype for sign-off
  4. Build in sprints

    2 – 16 weeks

Two-week sprints with a working, deployed preview at the end of each one.

Every sprint ends with something you can click on a real URL. You get a demo call, a changelog and the chance to reprioritise what comes next before it is built.

    What you get

    • A live preview environment
    • Sprint demo and changelog
    • Access to the repository from day one
  5. Test & harden

    3 – 7 days

Cross-device QA, accessibility, performance budgets and a security pass.

We test on real devices, not just a resized browser window. Performance is measured against a budget agreed up front, and the security checklist is shared with you rather than ticked internally.

    What you get

    • QA report across devices and browsers
    • Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals results
    • Security checklist with findings
  6. Launch

    1 – 2 days

Deployment, DNS, monitoring, analytics and a rehearsed rollback path.

We deploy behind a checklist, watch the metrics for the first 48 hours, and keep a tested rollback ready. Launch day should be uneventful, and with us it usually is.

    What you get

    • Production deployment and DNS cutover
    • Monitoring and alerting configured
    • Documented rollback procedure
  7. Support & grow

    Ongoing

Handover, training and an optional retainer with a response time you can hold us to.

You get the repository, the documentation and a training session. If you want us on call after that, retainers are monthly rolling — there is no lock-in clause to catch you out.

    What you get

    • Full code and asset handover
    • Team training session
    • Optional SLA-backed retainer
Principles

The four things that do not change.

Quality is not a budget line

Typed code, tests on anything that touches money, accessibility to WCAG AA and a performance budget. These are how we work, not upsells.

Everything transfers to you

Code, designs, domains and cloud accounts go into your name on delivery, and you have full access to all of it while we build. Leaving us should be easy — that is what keeps us honest.

Straight answers

If your idea has a flaw, you hear it early. If a cheaper tool does the job, we say so even when it costs us the work.

Specialists, not handoffs

Nobody hands your project down to a junior after the pitch. The people on the discovery call are the people writing the code, and each one is picked for the part they are building.

Next step

Tell us what you are trying to build.

A first call is thirty minutes, costs nothing, and ends with a straight answer about whether we are the right group for it — plus the names of the specialists who would actually do the work.
